2. About Broken Wings Initiative

Broken Wings Initiative is a Private Voluntary Organization registered in Zimbabwe (PVO 42/2021), registered with the Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare. We operate education, nutrition and child protection programmes in partnership with verified Zimbabwean schools and community organisations.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of Zimbabwean law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its servers, or any connected system.
• Interfere with, disrupt or attempt to impair the operation of the site, including by introducing malware.
• Scrape, harvest or extract content at scale for commercial or competitive purposes.
• Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information through any form on this site.
• Misrepresent your affiliation with BWI or impersonate any person or organisation.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including text, photographs, illustrations, the interactive regional map, and the Broken Wings Initiative name and dove mark — is the property of BWI and is protected by Zimbabwean and international copyright law.

You may quote brief extracts with clear attribution and a link to the source page for non-commercial, informational purposes. Reproduction of child photographs requires prior written consent from BWI.

5. Child Photography & Dignity

BWI is committed to protecting the dignity of the children we serve. All imagery of children used across this site has been captured under verified, documented guardian consent and ethical protocols. Copying, cropping or republishing child images in a degrading or misleading context is prohibited.

6. Donations

Sponsorship amounts shown on this site are indicative and may change. A donation is only treated as confirmed once receipted by BWI. Donations are non-refundable except where a transaction was made in error. Funds are applied to the programme selected, or to the most urgent need of the same category where that programme is at capacity.

BWI is not a financial institution and does not offer interest, returns or investment products. Sponsored programmes are subject to the availability of verified partner institutions in Zimbabwe.

7. Third-Party Links

This site may link to external websites, including payment processors and partner organisations. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices. Any link does not imply endorsement.

8. Data and Impact Figures

Regional statistics and beneficiary figures presented on this site are drawn from field assessments and partner reporting. They are provided in good faith to illustrate scale and need, are periodically revised, and should not be treated as audited financial statements.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BWI is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of this site, nor for any loss resulting from reliance on information published here. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify BWI against any claim arising from your misuse of this site or breach of these terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Zimbabwean courts.
